Transformation succeeds when we work on the how—on the forms, rules, and basic principles of action. The foundation for this is process theory, in particular the Meta-Matching Method.

My work focuses on two key areas: orientation and competencies.

By orientation, I mean creating clarity and finding the right focus. This takes place either in individual process-theory-based coaching or through accompanying process validation in innovation, research, or transformation projects. In both cases, the aim is to understand the situation precisely, avoid getting lost in details, and direct energy purposefully.

The second focus is on building competencies. In trainings, teams learn to work practically with the tools of process theory and thus become transformation-ready themselves. In addition, I develop tailor-made tools that are tested and practiced in toolshops. Toolshops are a kind of preparation phase: we take the time to examine tools, refine them, and apply them in a targeted way.

My unique approach can be summarized simply: I coach, validate, train, and tool—always with a focus on the how, not on the content.

A central working resource is the Toolbook. It was developed by ReformAgentur—today Transformationsgestalter—on behalf of the Federal Environment Agency and deliberately designed as an open-source project. That is why it is made available through the Academy for Learning Democracy . Here you can access the Toolbook.
